What was completed this week was pretty high quality. Saturday and Sunday were taken as rest days though due to the long weekend. I was at the cottage and thought it would be a good time for a mental break. Hoping the rest also helps clean up some of the back/sciatica problems.

I’m still not running on Dr’s orders. Hoping that I’m back to full health soon. Not sure when that will be though.

Some nice long slightly slower work here. Trying to get back to some more endurance and aerobic efforts in the pool. Averaged 1:39/100m over the distance including warm up and cool down.

Low point of the week. And the high point of the week. This was a split ride. I did half of it in the morning and absolutely missed my power targets all over, and then stopped & quit. Horrible. Then I went to work, did some work. Recovered a bit. Did some research on what might be going on and then decided to re-set my bike on the trainer. Cleaned it up, etc. Did really basic stuff. Hopped back on the bike set up properly to finish up the ride. And then absolutely murdered it. Hit and exceeded my power targets and generally everything felt the way it is supposed to. Feeling good again.

This was HARD but a great workout. I managed to descend for all 6, from a 1:44/100m warm up pace to a 1:33/100m.
